About the Instructor

1993-2009 Student/Instructor for American Taekwondo Association.  I was introduced to Yang style Tai Chi through ATA in 2003 as part of the instructor program.  Certified in two levels before leaving ATA in 2009.

After moving to Arizona I certified in Dr. Paul Lam's Tai Chi for Health programs.  November 2009--Tai Chi for Arthritis Parts I and II.  I began teaching in Bullhead City at the Bullhead Health Club and later at Mohave Community College.  In 2010 I attended the weeklong workshop certifying in Tai Chi at Work and Seated Tai Chi for Arthritis and learning the Sun 73 forms.  In 2011 I attended the workshop again learning the 42 Combined forms and later assisted Dr. Pam Kircher training new instructors of Tai Chi for Arthritis on the Navajo Nation.

In 2012 my wife and I moved to Payson, AZ where I began teaching Tai Chi for Arthritis at Eastern Arizona College--Payson campus.  Fall 2012 I added a second class to offer Sun  73 forms.  I certified in Tai Chi for Energy with Dr. Lam in Denver 2012. I continue to train and learn.  I have added certifications for Tai Chi for Rehabilitation, Tai Chi for Diabetes, and Tai Chi for Memory forms.  I also have learned the Yang 40 forms.

The college class offerings change each semester.  Previously, I have taught:  Tai Chi for Arthritis,  Tai Chi for Diabetes, Tai Chi for Osteoporosis, Sun 73, Yang 24, Yang 40, beginning Tai Chi levels 1 & 2, and Tai Chi for Energy forms.
